Before this new version of Netflix was released, this little promotional short film was made that is quite random, but interesting. It was made in the form of a grindhouse-style production, like an action film for exploitation cinema. Although it does not have a plot to follow, it is entertaining in its 2 minutes of duration. The production was done quite practically as an independent film and the sweeps make everything jump from one place to another. What does give it quite a bit of energy is the use of the theme song in the opening of the original anime. The Lost Session doesn't have much to salvage because it is only a small look at the Netflix series, but it was a rather curious way to attract the public's attention. My final rating for this short film is a 6/10.
