Honey Daniels (Jessica Alba) does not appear in the film despite the title bearing her name, her mother and her dance studio do appear however, and she is mentioned a few times in dialogue. Also if looking closely at the shelf when Connie is watching Maria dance on TV, a photograph of Honey Daniels can be seen.

Maria's last name is mentioned as Bennett at one point in the film. Despite this she is credited as Maria Ramirez.

A blooper reel is overlayed throughout the credits with flubbed lines and onset shenanigans.
