I had no idea who this guy was until about an hour ago. I was actually quite impressed. Matt navigates the complexities of talking and joking about some of American society's most taboo subjects like a boss. He's unapologetically himself and displays his comedic prowess for all to see. Flaws and all.
At first glance, you'd probably have no difficulty passing on this. You'd also be forgiven for thinking he wouldn't be funny just by looking at him. He's got that typical young, frat boy look about him. I mean he seriously looks like he'd be more comfortable in a Calvin Klein underwear ad than on stage doing stand up. Let's just say he's probably not having any trouble find eligible bachelorettes.
But despite his good looks, he's a truly funny dude with some good moral fiber. I certainly look forward to watching more of him.
