I really enjoyed watching this documentary. Besides discussing the motives and pitfalls of the buyer of London Bridge in 1968, the piece is chock full of history about several London bridges. There are facts I didn't know and found out.
Mainly, was he conned into buying the wrong bridge? I don't think he was. But there was a lot of London Bridge hype at the time that left some Americans thinking it was the Tower Bridge that was coming over. They were slow to correct this misconception that could not happen today in the era of instant news. Jp Gates does an excellent job narrating and presenting the material.
