A Band of Rogues was shot entirely on a pair of Canon DSLR cameras, the Canon 5D and a Canon 7D, at the peak of the DSLR revolution in 2010. However, the 5D developed a battery issue and many scenes had to rely solely on the 7D which had been designated was a "B" camera due to its smaller sensor. Cinematographer James Bertin rolled with the punches and still captured a great looking movie.

On the road again..

The ugly American is an image that we can't seem to shake. In A Band of Rogues, you see a group of musicians that are in a foreign land and violate a few laws and convicted. They are sent to rehab and there befriend a native Argentinean and paves the way for these misfits to go on an adventure of self discover. The principle actors are Atlanta based and the movie is directed by Atlanta based writer T. Jara Morgan. Each of the transitions of the chapter within the story center is hooked on a different song. A bit slow in places, the story is one of youthful angst and the journey of self discovery. The setting is beautiful and great overview of a exotic foreign land.
