I was awe-struck and mesmerized by the grandeur of the nature from the first until the last moment of the film. The Alps, the snow and the weather are as significant as the human characters here: father and son from the Netherlands, a country where mountains just don't exist. Both of them are good skiers, the son is even better: he works as a skiing and snowboarding instructor. The father arrives unexpectedly, soon we realize there is tension between them, a little later we understand why. And when it comes to a head, the non-human characters take over and the story takes a different turn. What can't be changed by man is easily changed by nature and its magnificence.

Amazing, hypnotizing photography and sound. Beautiful acting. Great script. Long-lasting aftertaste.
