Ronan Bennett's "MobLand" (2025-) delivers a compelling and immersive crime saga, drawing viewers into a meticulously crafted world of underworld intrigue and complex characters. Its narrative, while intricate, unfolds with a gripping pace, constantly building tension and offering unexpected turns that keep the audience thoroughly engaged. The dialogue is sharp, intelligent, and authentic, feeling natural and contributing significantly to the show's dark and atmospheric tone. Instead of a generic crime drama, "MobLand" offers a deeply layered and genuinely captivating exploration of loyalty, power, and survival within a brutal world.

Is it worth watching? Absolutely. "MobLand" is a highly engaging and well-executed crime series that promises a rich narrative and strong performances, making it a compelling watch for fans of the genre.

The first word that comes to my mind after watching Mobland is...amazing! Mobland is about two mob families that are in a war with each other that threatens everyone lives and the empires they work for. In the middle is a fixer named Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) who tries to stop these two families from eliminating each other. The cast is just brilliant...Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan lead a terrific cast who are all at the top of their game here. Mobland is directed by Guy Ritchie so if you're a fan of his you'll love this and if you're not you'll still love it. This is easily one of the best shows of the year and I hope we get multiple seasons of it. It's a gritty drama with plenty of action and twists to keep you entertained throughout each episode. I really can't recommend this show enough.

MobLand is a solid gangster show. Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza is brilliant, and other characters like Conrad and Maeve Harrigan are also strong. The story is emotional and keeps you on edge. It's not very bloody, but still intense, might feel too much for sensitive viewers.

There's a good plot twist at the end (no spoilers). If you liked Ray Donovan, this will feel familiar. Still, it's well-acted, well-made, and worth a watch.

MobLand is nothing but BRILLIANT 💎 Excellent all the way. Great actors, great acting, great story, perfect photography, perfect tempo. And, last but not least, Tom Hardy is absolutely fantastic as Harry.

Drawn to the show via some Facebook or YouTube reel, any gangster show with Tom Hardy is going to be worthwhile.

The accents from Brosnan and Mirren are grating and wildly inconsistent. I'd be happy to see far less of them in Season 2.

A stellar cast aside from that, and a familiar story but from a different POV. Not as good as Kin, but they're not trying to be the same show either.

Expecting something radically different now that ground has been laid, a la Love/Hate, where everything flipped after the debut season. More Jan, more Zosia, more Paul please.
