Aj Olson stars in this film as a very mean girl with her posse bullies and torments psychologically others. Olson likes this particular boy Andrew Dyer and Dyer seems to reciprocate. At least she thinks so when he invites her to go to a summer camp. She of course suspects ulterior motives as in the old days when some man asked a woman over to his apartment to see his etchings.
Turns out the camp is Camp Harlow a Christian camp and that has a lot of connotations especially if you've seen films like Jesus Camp. But here the folks are just all sweetness and light and concerned with winning her over to the faith. I would expect nothing less from a Christian film.
Naturally she converts and truly does undergo a rapid change in personality for the better.
On a film and a spiritual level I was less than impressed. The nature scenes were nice and I certainly recognize some characters from my youth. Still it's been my experience that there's a lot more to transforming people than this film has to offer.
