Blindspot

As in not blind - or something along those lines. But my silliness aside (and no pun intended as always), I was quite surprised - I did not read anything about the movie and you should try to avoid reading about the story. Just watch this and let it take you by surprise ... which also is true for the performers. Really rock solid acting here - goes hand in hand with a tight script.

Have I seen movies that handled a similar theme/story better? Yes - but that does not mean that the drama and thrilling aspects this is able to conjure are lesser ... impact and otherwise. And it is all coherent and makes sense. You could watch this again and see certain things and be like - yes I see it now. So some twists are on the way (you may be able to spot all of them - though some may take a bit more time to see through them than others I suppose) ... and they make this movie worthwhile.

German genre movies have a tough standing - most of the time deservedly so ... but this, really knows what it does and deserves more attention for sure.
