Take-off

The Authorities refuse to listen to Marie. Sara is fed up of listening to Fredrik and Jennifer arguing, and tired of being used as a pawn in a game, she decides to jet off to Madrid, just as her plane sets off, a huge ash cloud appears.

It's a likeable second episode, I can't lay a whole lot of criticisms on its door, a few minor quibbles, the main one being that it's half way through, and only now we have the explosion, the rest has largely been family melodrama.

Who doesn't remember that huge ash cloud on Iceland some years back, people stranded for months on end, so there's definitely a sense of realism from that point of view.

Some pretty good special effects used here, scenes of the plane entering the cloud looked rather good, you just hope The Pilot gets to Specsavers pretty soon.

I'd like to know what the deal is with Marie's brother, what's he up to?
