Well, I think it would be more appropriate if I'd write in German, but after all, this is an English site, so... :)
I watched this movie yesterday night, and I had very much fun doing so. Though it's starring only unknown actors (most of them only played in this very movie - exception is of course Maria Singer as Magdalena Trenner), they seem like made for this role. You could think they play themselves in a film that is just a cut out copy of real life :)
The movie is called "Die Scheinheiligen" - "The Hypocrites"; and that's exactly like those people are: hypocritical.
The mayor with his "bigger plan" for the city (which stands above all). The policemen with their certain "asshole on duty" behaviour. The vicar with his "be Christly and do what I say" way of life. And so on, just see for yourself! I really have troubles expressing what I think about this movie. It's just the disgust about the "bad guys" and at the same time the laughter about the way the "good guys" through them a club in the way, that's what makes one enjoy this movie so much. A MUST for Bavarians, for all others still very recommended!
So long, Obeliks
