I'm not sure what happened to this. Has a great cast. (Pullman is great, but Woodard is wasted). Great cinematography. Is set back in the 70s so it has a fun nostaligia feel. Good horror producers behind it. Even a great story of course from Stephen King. But somehow the entire thing just falls flat. It feels rushed. No character development. It's almost an exact remake of the 1979 version. So it felt kind of unnecessary. This is one of those cases where I feel this could have been a 3 part limited series on Netflix or something so we get that character development. Just everything happens so quickly and it feels edited abruptly (or too quickly) so it leaves things out. Overall its an enjoyable watch but it could and should have been so much more.
