Review of Asini

Asini (1999)
7/10
A sweet and romantic Italian story
18 January 2006
It isn't the prototype of the Italian comedy: "Asini" ("Donkeys") speak about a group of young guys without parents or considered from their parents out of time, out of society that live in a farm house managed by "strange" monks that teach them the beauty of the simple things. Italo (C. Bisio) is a rugby player that is very similar to the guys of the farm house: no serious work, no serious girlfriend...he's not happy of his life because he hasn't find his role in the society. One day Italo received the proposal to teach gym to the guys of this strange farm house; he accepted, ignoring that this experience will be useful also for him. Guys will learn how to face life using their repressed rage, and Italo will find his place and his dimension in the world. Very soft, very sweet...very Italian!!!

p.s.: sorry for my incorrect English...!
