First off, I am not that big a fan of 2-D games. I guess I might just be spoiled by growing up in a generation that had Goldeneye and Shadows of the Empire as its greatest console games, but I will give the makers of this game some credit, they did well with what they had. The story line is good, and I enjoyed the mana system. Small hint: check the barrels before absorbing them, sometimes there are goodies. The actual movement in cities felt restricted, but that could be because I couldn't alter the camera angles. I really liked the tutorials, they weren't that helpful, but I always enjoy when the game acknowledges that it is gonna be breaking the fourth wall. Well worth the money. Go out and get a used copy and you will be glad you did.
