Lincoln and the War Within (1992 TV Movie)
9/10
Filmed in Delaware
13 January 2008
I actually worked on this movie as a production intern while still in high school. I worked with the directors and the actors with anything that needed to be done, including holding a tissue while Chris Saradon blew his nose...yuck!!! This film was shot entirely in Delaware. Some of the shots were made in New Castle at the Read House. Others were done at the Governors mansion in Dover and the old Governors Mansion in Bueana Vista. There were shots at the Padua academy in Wilmington. The outside shots in the field were done at the White Clay Creek state park and it was actually raining pretty hard and we had to hold a canopy above the heads of the actors since it was not supposed to be raining in the scene. It was an awesome experience. It is a shame that the movie did not get the recognition that is so deserved and thanks for the idea. I may show my copy in my Social Studies classroom....
