This pretty fast paced/talking picture is a showcase for Mr. Manfred Krugs comedic "talent". Not that he's a comedy genius, but he does a decent enough job here. The movie of course made his name and he flew from Eastern Germany shortly afterwards. I don't know the exact details of that, but I'm sure they can be read somewhere on this page or some other place on the internet.
The movie is pretty silly and therefor you have to really lower your expectations and just try to get with the flow. The thing is, that the movie itself stays within it's own set of rules. Which is why I gave it a good rating.
