I love this movie. I grew up watching it since almost the entire cast are my family. Tuta Ngarimu Tamati is my Great GrandUncle and the barman/cop is my GrandUncle. This movie has been watched so many times in my household that we pretty much know every line. The movie shoes that you don't need flashy FX, or Hollywood writers to come up with something thats truly timeless. The story is amazing, touching and the setting is true to the way of life up there, from what I was told by my Father. It's a classic in it's own right, a true piece of cinematic greatness that should be in every true movie lovers collection. Maybe I'm just biased, but hey, when a movie sends shivers down your spine and stirs emotions inside as it does for me, then you know you've come across something special.
