"Hold" is a realistic journey into the lives of a married couple (played by a tormented Robby Storey and Stephanie Rhodes) dealing with sexual assault. The film is shot with a series of uninterrupted takes or 'plan sequence' that boldly forces the audience to live through the trials facing it's main characters. This stylistic approach seamlessly adds to the tension and despair of an already sensitive subject matter. Yes... the director Frank Mosley does this on purpose. The result? "Hold" is an accomplished and poignant look at the reclaiming of life after rape... and rape after marriage...
