Excellent story
18 March 2011
The story in this film is excellent as a treatise on current social pressures experienced by well-meaning teens of today. Peer pressure is truly a temptation that is difficult to overcome. Adolescent minds are vulnerable. This films warns not only the teens but also their parents of the difficulty of growing up in a God-fearing way in this society of ours today. The film is full of originality and character, characteristic of young filmmakers. The film is low budget but it tells a compelling story. It features the familiar environment: home, school, church, parties, friends' homes, etc. However, film has an unexpected social commentary that deviates from the stereotypes of characters for the various roles such as the leading actor and his family, the nurse and the priest. I hope films like this find and are viewed by their target audience - teens and their parents.
