Do you ever rent really independent movies you've never heard of, just because you're a film buff? I'm not talking about Garden State, I'm talking about a movie where the director had to use his own equipment, raise his own budget, get all of his friends to star in it for free, etc. If you do, then the only other truly independent movie I've ever liked more was Clerks. Master of Inventions has a lot of great jokes, and it managed to run that very fine line between being all out silly, and actually getting you to care about the characters. You can watch it online here: http://www.facebook.com/masterofinventions/app_156218351098324
Just watch the first ten minutes, I'm sure you'll be hooked.
