Kenton Bartlett's "Missing Pieces" sure does not miss any pieces when it comes to film making. Bartlett's stunning direction evokes allusion to familiar concepts of film making, and not mistakes are made. For his first time making a film, Bartlett does not shy and comes out with this glorious piece of art. I suggest everyone watch it and see what independent film makers can do, there is no need for a large budget when you possess the artistic eye that seems innate to Bartlett. He directs his cast with ease and it seems as if they were at home, no awkward deliveries or difficult areas. Surely, Kenton will become even a more skilled director as the time passes and he shows no signs of digression. I would go as far as to say he will be among the elite class of directors such as PTA, Malick, and McQueen if he continues with his style.
