A fairy tale of redemption
30 September 2013
When you are shown a city that is glowing even during the nights, artists who perform extra ordinarily well, Illayaraja's symphony, a story that is just like a fairy tale, one must say 'Cant ask for better'. This is what Mysskin's Onaayum Aattukuttiyum is all about.

The Story is about a man who is a killer by profession trying to seek a redemption over a night. Simple.

Screenplay is so good that it sticks to story and only to the story. Every characters in the movie are given proper detail (even the one that is out of focus). Being a thriller genre, the screenplay moves like a train that goes very fast and also not forgetting to stop by the right stations.

Entire film has been shot in Chennai during the nights. The cinematographer must surely given the credit to have visualized the city extremely well.

The direction skills of Mysskin is well known from his previous films,he has done a great job as well. The casts including Mysskin and Shri have all lived up to the characters. Interestingly all the characters were given animal-like shades (fox, lamb, tiger, bear etc).

Finally you have Illayaraja's soundtracks throughout the entire movie. One thing for sure, Illayaraja is the only person in India who can communicate intense emotions without words.

The movie has got no comedy but lots of humor. There is no romance in the movie, but it has got lots of love.At the end of day you will have a feel of experiencing, what is supposed to be world class cinema.

Go watch it for Mysskin and Maestro. Highly recommended.
