I picked this up in a sale, it was a comedy, said the blurb. Well once you have realised it's not really a comedy, just a mildly amusing drama, you can enjoy it. There are some really nice views of Paris by night in the opening credits, always a pleasure to see. Furthermore, it's a good film, with realistic characters and some excellent acting by young actors too. I liked the way the story unravelled slowly, and the truth came out at the end. It's worth a couple of hours of your time if you enjoy French movies (I do) and will leave you with a sense of well-rounded enjoyment. (I really don't like this ten-line rule for reviews. Sometimes one can say enough briefly).
