Bacardi: The Mixed One (1978)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
I'm not sure how many people were aware but director William Grefe (MAKO: THE JAWS OF DEATH) actually made a string of movie shorts for the Bacardi company. In this one here he even managed to get William Shatner to star in it. This film has Shatner in a beautiful location shooting a movie when he and his co-star decide to take a break and visit the Bacardi company. Once there the owner decides to take the two around the location and talk to them about all the great things you can do with Bacardi. Well, there's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but if you're a fan of Grefe or Shatner then you'll probably want to check this out. There aren't any laughs or anything like that but as a documentary it offers up some interesting things on the drink as well as how it's made and what all can be done with it.
