Shot in colour and widescreen format, this movie is about a man and his daughter who are involved in a car accident which leaves her lame. It features some fascinating scenes of Cape Town, Groote Schuur and Table mountain during the sixties. Ge' Korsten was an opera singer and here he plays the lead character. The movie is in Afrikaans without subtitles.

In South Africa comic books consisting of posed photos were popular and one of the stars of these books was Mark Condor, played by Martin Pols. He also appears in the movie alongside Ge'. It involves a romantic triangle and an emotionally charged ending involving Ge' and his little girl. The alternate title is Hear my song.
