Usually I rely on other user reviews to get a sense of what is going on but there are none. A hundred year old vampire is dug up and "befriends" a girl and her grandmother. They have a Brit and a rooster for roommates. Although the rooster doesn't last long as the vampire is hungry after a 100 years. But then it is brought back to life. Although the vampire smoulders when the sun touches him the humans need not fear as he doesn't care for human blood being a Buddhist. But other vampires are around.
The action, editing, photographly are as jumpy as the plot with the music accentuating the silliness. It is a lively story embellished by its quirkyness. A nice touch is the Chinese way of doing the credits revealing the actor't name when s/he appears on screen. This facilitates recognition much easier.
