9/10
Simultaneously high and low production value
12 February 2019
This film doesn't coddle you as a viewer, expecting you to already know the gist of what it means to be a trans dude these days. It authentically shows an experience as a trans man in the United States transitioning in his 20's.

The choice to document his transition means that you get to come along for the ride, and experience some of the challenges that he faced along the way.

In years to come this will be a decent anecdotal source for researchers of trans life in the 2010's

The sound quality is pretty bad for portions, and while I understand that this is an authentic documentary, a little more scripting or commentary in the voice-over would have been fantastic and brought even more value to this already unique and difficult-to-capture film.

This film is distributed for free for the benefit of trans communities <3
