In "Trapped Model" (a.k.a., "A Model Kidnapping," a.k.a., "Model Murders"), Grace is an aspiring model, who answers an add for an all-expenses paid trip to Miami to work with a photographer who promises to make her a star. Grace's first reaction is that the offer seems just too good to be true. She should have trusted her instincts because the offer was indeed too good to be true.
The young model is kept in captivity by a psychopath named Hunter Kelly of the Model Matchup agency. But Hunter is a sick con artist who works out of his home, using the soundproofed guest house as the torture chamber where he films his captives on a live streaming feed.
Grace's caring mother and her boyfriend sense that something is amiss when Grace does not contact them. With no help from a useless police detective, the mom and the boyfriend are on their own to locate Grace.
The film was extremely unpleasant in the situations in which Grace is treated by her tormentor. While the actress playing Grace did an admirable job of playing the feisty victim, the film was too much of a downer with Hunter being a villain of the most despicable variety. One of the more interesting secondary characters was his consort Nicole. One kept waiting for Nicole to bond with his victim in the guesthouse. But, saving Grace was left to the heroic actions of others, as Nicole provided too little too late to the trapped model.
