10/10
Superman & Lois honors the comic book, the pilot was both memorable and incredible

Greg Berlanti and Todd Helbing developed Superman and Lois, serving as both producers and writers for the show. They have made a comic accurate Superman and I'm happy about that, a nice change from the current film Superman which I absolutely love, but it's nice to see it being comic accurate. The pilot is directed by Lee Toland Krieger and he did a great job, bringing fantastic direction and some really cool shots, he really gets the characters too and it's thanks to the writers.

Crisis of Infinite Earths rewrote history so that Clark and Lois' baby boy turned to a set of teenaged twins, so the family is much bigger and fits so much better with the show. I Tyler Hoechlin plays Clark Kent / Superman and I have to say that his performance in this episode shows so much potential, more than his appearances in Supergirl ever did, he will do the character justice and will be seen as a iconic and memorable performance in the future. Elizabeth Tulloch plays the second lead, Lois Lane. She did a fairly good job, I believe that her performance will only get better and better from here as her role in this episode was basic, but a positive thing is that she got the character right. Jordan Elsass plays Jonathan Kent which is the modest and kind-hearted son of Clark and Lois whilst Alex Garfin plays Jordan Kent which is the intelligent son of Clark and Lois who has social anxiety.

There were lots of cool shots throughout the episode, great camera work. The fight scenes were handled perfectly, with good visual and special effects. One thing that I thought was amazing and special was how they jumped timezones, from USA to another country, that was a nice addition that deserves praise. The overall writing for the episode was phenomenal, I didn't expect it to be so well written and kind of realistic. The title characters being parents and having two children really worked out perfectly.

Superman & Lois got off to a great start with an incredible pilot, it feels like the quality will be the same as Stargirl, budget wise and so on. There's so much promise in this TV series, I'm looking forward to see what they'll bring to the table.
