... have a character (Detective Holt played by Mark Slade) repeat an annoying habit (retractable pen clicking) throughout the movie without reason, reproach, or comedy payoff (eg killer jams it into Holt's ear).
Though it reeks of schlock, it did have semi-interesting story and effects, but, not enough to overcome Holt (Slade).
