I saw "Together", starring James McAvoy-Atomic Blonde, Wanted; Sharon Horgan-This Way Up_tv, Game Night and Samuel Logan-this is his first movie.
This is a relationship movie that takes place in London during the Covid 19 lockdown. James & Sharon are a couple with a son, Samuel-and that's the whole cast-that are trying to manage during the crisis but it's not easy, as most people know. Being stuck in the house with each other is nerve racking and they didn't get along very well before this happened. At one point, James says that the best part of his day is when he goes to work-to get away from Sharon. There are lots of ups & downs, lots of talking, lots of fighting and making up, but mostly lots of talking. I must say, both James & Sharon give good performances-Samuel is mostly in the background-but it does get a little tedious.
It's rated "R" for language and has a running time of 1 hour & 31 minutes.
It's not one that I would buy on DVD. If you are curious about how some people coped during the pandemic, it would be alright as a rental.
