Review of Kuri

Kuri (2022)
4/10
simple plot, simple performance
3 September 2022
Kuri was cute ๐Ÿ™‚ A straightforward plot told in a straightforward way with straightforward acting

DELICIOUS

-The crew and cast must have had fun making this movie because it looked so relaxed and casual.

Kuri treated the dowry subject in a different manner than we're accustomed to. The film opened up to the agony women go through when their families have to sacrifice so much to marry them off.

-Always a pleasure to see Vishnu Unnikrishnan take the lead๐Ÿ˜ƒ

-We appreciated the sincerity and humaneness of the main characters; they put their interests aside and genuinely worried about the plight of those suffering, a nice message for today's generation

BLAND

-Kuri was, regrettably, not presented in a smooth way. The screenplay started out very slowww and the hostage situation only got addressed after an hour of watching

-The story, in general, was ok; nothing to really look forward to, no complex layers or production to make it gripping.

The ending scene appeared like a fairy tale when this is usually far from reality (no spoilers intended ๐Ÿค)
