Taking place in the Paris suburbs, after some policemen killed a young hoodlum; a very realistic tale, more than inspired by too many events that really occur each year. This short story focuses on one young man, student, who refuses the idea to follow his fellow neighbours, who are reluctant to a normal life. He is torn between friendship and precisely this normal life. This kind of plot should be made for a long length movie, not a short one. It deserves to be more developed. This is not a propaganda film in any way, it just tells us a story which shows the difficulties that the young people have to succeed in life, when they live in a suburb ghetto.
