I was hoping for something more entertaining in this movie, Searching for Jackie, or its original title Xun zhao Cheng Long, but it kind of seemed by the numbers.
The sentiment was there, and Jackie Chan was there as the moral compass. Which is ironic in some ways, as I was hoping that his daughter Etta Ng Chok Lam would make a tearful reunion appearance with Jackie. I would have rated Searching for Jackie nine stars if Etta Ng Chok Lam had made a cameo appearance.
But not to be. Anyway, what's also sorely missing are the trademark outtakes in the end credits. I would rated Searching for Jackie more than five for sure.
