I watched this movie over the course of three sessions, and I had to pause a total of 19 times because I could not bear the copious amount of cringe. Surprisingly, there were a few moments that I found hilarious, and I laughed more often than I initially anticipated. However, the "humor" was mostly caused by ridiculous and cringe-worthy situations.
After the 1:08 h mark, there was quite a shift in tone, and the funny moments ceased to exist. Also, the movie tried to be a bit educational, which felt out of place. The story was average for this kind of movie, and the pacing was awful. The setting reminded me of "Sex Education", except the characters were a lot less relatable.
If you like this genre and can deal with awkwardness in movies, you may enjoy the first two-thirds of the movie, but the last part was a bit of a let down. Overall, it was a more enjoyable experience than I originally anticipated.
