This Fate series is the one of my best series in fate grand order universe and it is my most favorite series inferior to Fate zero. Although the plot of this series is not as complicated or tense as Fate Zero, but because of the storyline of each character and their relationship makes this story enjoyable to watch. Especially the story of the protagonist of this series, Gilgamesh.
Synopsis - Ritsuka and Mash take a rayshift to the Seventh Singularity in ancient Mesopotamia, circa 2655 BC, to retrieve the Holy Grail. The city of Uruk, ruled by King Gilgamesh, must fight the Three Goddesses. And the monsters that want to destroy Uruk, Ritsuka, Mash and the other Servants must fight together to prevent a cataclysm that threatens to destroy humanity.
In terms of storyline I have heard that Most people who already know the story from the game "fate grand order" before. When watching this series, you may feel bored because you already know the story before, including some parts of the story in this series that have been cut short from the story in the game, making this series unable to convey the story clearly in some parts. But for me who didn't know the story from fate grand order before, I think in the storyline is good and enjoyable. Although I was confused by the plot at some parts in the story because of some removed parts.
What is interesting to me in this series is This series tells the story of King Gilgamesh's final life in the Caster class and his relationship with his friend Enkidu. If you have watched Fate zero and fate stay night before, you may recognize this character as a cruel and savage king, but Gilgamesh is often referred to as the" king of heroes" in fate zero and fate stay night, which sounds at odds with his personality at the time, but in this fate grand order you'll see Gilgamesh as the king of heroes truly. Including the name Enkidu that he speaks out often, you will also know the story of Enkidu in this story as well.
In terms of Production I actually followed the fate series because Ufotable produced this series and I really liked Ufotable's production style. Although this series is not produced by Ufotable, who has done the fate stay night and fate zero was Incredibly well done. But this company didn't disappoint me. The quality of both 2D and 3D animation is also incredibly well done, the 2D and 3D animation is very smooth especially The beast2 monster, her movement in the scene is very smooth also the 3D model is very interesting Including the use of exciting camera angles in every scene, I couldn't take my eyes off each scene, all of which were awesome! And also the 3D animation blends very well with 2D animations.
In the end, I would recommend This Fate grand order series is one of the series that should be watched They have all feelings in one series fun, stressful, sad, and funny unlike other series that are quite tense. So, it is enjoyable to watch, And if you're a fan of Gilgamesh then you shouldn't miss it.
