This is a terrible film. I heard about this because it was a sponsored video on YouTube. So it cost them money to make the film then they pay for an advert so people will watch it? They are paying people to watch it, it's that bad no-one would watch it for free. It starts with ugly title graphics. I hated that most of the film was shot on a gimbal with really robotic camera movement. The antagonist is the least scary ever. Why is there a VHS filter on the YouTube video in the film that I'm watching on YouTube. The editing is amateur and horrible, they just cut to the person talking which is one of my pet peeves. The writing is awful, like the worst part is the writing. The characters aren't even one dimensional, they are simply stupid and dull. The story has an inciting incident and that's it, it just goes on and on without anything happening except the mannequin trying to get them. The sound recording is horrible sounding. The lighting and grading is mostly terrible. There are numerous technical issues. There is absolutely no charm to any of it. Quite the opposite, it is off-putting on every level. The cast look older than the people they are playing. In fact the cast aren't even acting, they're barely even reciting lines. The film would fail the Bechdel test as the women characters only talk about men. Without looking I'd guess it was written by a man. It felt like some kids had a camera and a mannequin and decided to make a film, at least the terrible Monsturd (2003) made some props. The character decision makes no sense. There are people getting killed including their teacher and police issue a stay at home order but they go out on a pizza date. Some of the set pieces are quite well choreographed and the cast are mostly good at standing quite still. Sometimes the music is actually okay. I suspect they couldn't get distribution as it's too terrible so instead of cutting their losses and giving up they paid people to watch it because they think it's good. It's not good. It's one of the worst films I've ever sat through.
