"Who is Hope Schuyler?" is a B-movie with a cast of mostly unknowns. Heck, the leading man, Joseph Allen, doesn't have a photo of him on the IMDB page! As for the rest, the only face you'll likely notice is Ricardo Cortez, though he's not given much to work with here.
The story begins in court. The DA (Allen) insists that there is a mystery woman named Hope Schuyler who can rip open his case against Anthony Pearce (Cortez)...IF they can find her. Though it's not even clear that this woman exists at all...and in spite of this, the DA asks the judge for two days to find her and if he doesn't then Pearce will have the case against him dismissed. Then, instead of POLICE investigating, the DA goes out on his own and is joined by two women who investigate this mystery woman.
The plot doesn't make a lot of sense. The film is low energy and wastes Cortez and the actors OFTEN seem to be screaming their lines. All in all, there are much better B-movies out there than this one.
