Its one thing not releasing how strong you are but misunderstanding everything having conversation with villain as if he is a normal person (while he is trying to kill you along with everyone and he saying it himself). Why writer are obsessed with making OP Mc so dumb to the point it unbearable to watch their misunderstanding as if they traded their brain cells for power. Whats the point of strength when you can't use it. Rather making them unimaginable powerfully makes them powerful enough so they struggle. Dragging this stupidity is frustrating at least show some character growth. Like when meets the king everyone keel but he didn't. When he was told afterward that this is the king he still didn't understand. Taking everything lightly and misunderstanding everything. Like he is main character instead of internal monologue just tell him clearly its so stupid.
