A sequel for this movie, called 'Het grote Sinterklaas Mysterie' was announced to be released at the end of 2009, but when producer Independent Films opted to choose for a movie around the annual TV-programme 'Het Sinterklaas Journaal', this movie was postponed.

Goofs
Right before Gigi demolishes the first version of her robotic Saint Nicholas or 'robot-Sint' by pushing it away, you can see a little bit of the shoulder of the guy wearing the robot-Sint suit.
