Pakistani actress Kubra Khan was originally cast as the leading heroine and shot most of her scenes for the movie. Changes in the script caused her to drop out of the movie as she felt the movie portrayed Pakistan in a bad light. Some of her scenes were retained in the film and her role was changed into a smaller part. A majority of her scenes were reshot with Lauren Gottlieb replacing her.
Stunt coordinator Steve Truglia recruited Ex- Royal Marines , paratroopers and special forces take part in many of the scenes involving a variety of firearms.
The baby delivery scene where Arshad Warsi requests for a vaccum cleaner is taken from Raju Hirani's 3 Idiots. Arshad Warsi mentions Raju by name
Irrfan Khan originally signed for the film but later opted out. Jacky Bhagnani replaced him.
Many of the Supporting Artist ended up working for low pay due to budget cuts and some new artist were roped in to work for free.
