Menschen von Morgen - Geständnisse vor der Kamera

According to a review in the German weekly Der Spiegel, Atlas film producer Hanns Eckelkamp happened to see the original Dutch documentary in an Amsterdam cinema in October 1964. Though he understood only half of it, he found the subject matter and the way it was handled incredibly gripping, and decided to finance a German remake with German interviewees, keeping Kees Brusse as the director.
