- TriviaWhen Matt and Foggy talk about the language classes they are taking in college, Foggy claims that Matt only took Spanish to get close to a Greek girl that was in the same class. This is a reference to Elektra Natchios, who in the comics was one of Matt's many love interests and also a ninja assassin.
- GoofsIn flashback sequences to their time in school, Matt and Foggy are shown to be taking Spanish and Punjabi, respectively, among their class loads. Foreign language classes are not part of a law school curriculum. It is, however, part of a well-rounded pre-law curriculum, and it is not made clear if Foggy and Matt are in law school or getting their undergraduate degrees (but undergraduate is implied).
- Quotes
Foggy Nelson: Me and you, pal. We're gonna have big, fancy offices one day, with steel and glass and chairs you don't even know how to sit in. Murdock and Nelson, attorneys at law!
Matt Murdock: Nelson and Murdock. Sounds better.
Foggy Nelson: You think?
Matt Murdock: Yeah, trust me. I can't see worth shit, but my hearing's spectacular.
Foggy Nelson: Me and you, pal... We're gonna do this. We're gonna be the best damn avocados this city has ever seen.
[both laugh]
Matt Murdock: Best damn avocados.

Foggy learns about Matt's double life and is understandably angry at him for not only being the man in the mask, but also keeping it a secret from him. The confrontation between these two is very good because they both have good arguments for why Matt should or shouldn't continue his life as a vigilante so it's hard to side with one of them. One small thing for this is that I would've liked to actually see Claire instead of just having her mentioned. Matt could've seen her when he was waking up and see her talking to Foggy. We wouldn't hear what they were saying but she could've looked worried about Matt, but not able to stay around him.
The flashbacks to through the friendship of Foggy and Matt was well done as we see them as roommates, classmates, coworkers and right before the start their own firm as it showed how natural their friendship evolved and how much they value and needed each other over the years.
Ben and Karen inch closer to exposing Fisk as Karen finds Fisk's mother in a retirement home. Their they learn the truth about Wilson and what he did to his father, which might not be able to arrest him but could have people look more closely into his life. There is a rift between Karen and Ben as Karen uses the deteriorating life of Ben's wife as an excuse to further investigate, which will clearly build a wall between them, although Ben said to Karen that his wife would've liked her.
Fisk had problems this episode. Even with him in the public spotlight, there is danger that still reaches him, or in fact, Vanessa. At a benefit that Fisk was hosting, several people including Vanessa, are poisoned through the drinks that were served. While this immediately distracts Fisk because of his clear love for Vanessa, I am fully confident that somehow Owlsley is behind it as he was the one to give her the drink and that he didn't even drink his.
Still a very good episode, especially for Elden Henson who's performance of Foggy finally blew over everything that Matt was hiding from him.
+ Foggy and Matt + Ben and Karen get closer to the truth + Fisk distracted and in danger due to his heart - Claire mentioned but not seen
