CobraGator was directed by Jim Wynorski for Roger Corman and the Syfy Channel, but as of March 2021, it still hasn't been released. An online petition was launched in mid 2020 to get it released.
A trailer released online angered potential fans because it spoiled almost all of the kills in the movie.
The film was shot in 15 days in 2014 at Caverns State Park.
