- Two young kids form the Moochie Kalala Detectives Club to uncover the truth behind their grandpa's wild stories. Every Saturday, Grandpa (Tim Kazurinsky) comes over and shares a ridiculous story that twists the kids thinking about science. To uncover the real story, the kids head to Museums and Zoos and meet with real scientists to discover the truth. Episodes feature museums and scientists from Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum, John G. Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science & Industry, Lincoln Park Zoo and Frank Lloyd Wright Trust.

Chicagos own Dreaming Tree Films has been creating youth-centric TV shows, films and original content since 2002, all purposed to make a difference in young lives. Before the release of Moochie Kalala Detectives Club, Dreaming Tree released The Stream, a coming-of-age family comedy featuring Mario Lopez (Extra), Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) and Rainn Wilson (The Office). Released in theatres and currently available on iTunes, Amazon and Walmart, proceeds from the feature film benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Other Dreaming Tree projects include Fresh Films, a teen filmmaking platform where Teens Replace the Pros, All Access, a music documentary featuring Blink 182 and Weezer and Got Noise, an original production of Ushers music videos by youth.
