This is a great fan made series to start ,really the people behind it are dedicated batman fans and it definitely shows from the customs to the characters and the tone is almost the same with the Batman Beyond animated series. If you want to see it just go to Youtube and write "Batman Beyond : the series" you won't recreated guys and girls.
Now the designs ,to be honest are a bit chip looking ,which is understandable ,is a fan made series for crying out loud. And yes the acting at some points is stiff, due to the budget constraining. To give you an idea the whole eight episode of the first cycle took only 40000 dollars to be made, so yes again even the animated series had bigger budgets. But I have to say the Batman Beyond custom looks really nice, I would with out question go buy it.
As I wrote for the characters what I really like since my childhood this concept: The legacy of the Dark Knight continued by an other persons when Bruce becomes to old to do it. And the differences between Terry (the new Batman) and Bruce were portrait excellently here . To give you an idea this is what the elder crusader said " We try to do our best , not become someone else" thanks Bats. One other thing that I saw was that the action is really good, better even than some Hollywood movies ( Terminator Genisys, Batman and Robin ,Rambo 3...) .
Finally The reason why this series turn to be so good is that the creators are fans of try to pay homage to what they love and this love turns to dedication and dedication to nice done. This fan-base is obvious if you hear the ring tone of the phone of the man who plays Terry, IS THE INTRO OF THE CARTOON!!!! :). If you are a fan of the original series, then go watch it. You will find much of fan service together with go stories and characters that you can understand and relate to.
