The first season was the best season. The season 1 songs were catchy, upbeat, and my little ones loved the show. The character voices were distinct to each character and the children watching could identify each by voice. The show was captivating to the children and helped teach manners and empathy in a kid friendly way. The second season characters sounded too similar to each other, the children couldn't identify the characters by voice, the songs were not as upbeat nor were they as appealing to my children. I definitely recommend season 1 for limited viewing for younger children (1-5/6). I don't recommend season 2.

Where do I even begin with this? This show is so bad it should have "bad" written all over it. The characters are dull, the songs are repetitive, and the writing is done by Canadians. But this show IS Canadian, so i'll just scratch that last part. The only good thing about this show is that some of the characters don't go on all of the adventures. Trust me, this show is pure Canadian garbage. Go watch other shows than this cheap 11-minute commercial for Fisher-Price's Little People toys. You may not agree with my opinion, but that's okay, because I won't care. I will still think this show is pure Canadian garbage.

Around Christmas we started to pick up Little People toys for our baby. Gradually picking up more and more because he liked the colours, objects, play sets, vehicles, figures, sounds and songs. A friend of mine works for DHX animation, and mentioned he had been working on the show for a few years, we didn't even realize there was a show. We were still trying to not watch TV with the baby, but we all really took to this show. Our toddler recognizes the characters and toys on the screen, and even some of the songs from the toys are used in the episodes. The episodes are funny, well produced, and have nice teaching lessons for our son.
