The college students Laurie (Laura Flannery), her best friend Faith (Ashton Leigh), her boyfriend Mick (Jamie Nocher) and their friend Joey (Anthony Del Negro) head to California on vacation. They take the exit 14 out of the interstate and soon they realize that they are lost. The stop at the gas station and convenience store owned by the gentle Roy (Tom Sizemore) that gives the right direction to the group. However the car has a problem and stops, and they call Roy to tow the car to his mechanical shop. Roy offers his house for the group to spend the night and soon they realize that the exit 14 does not exist.
The lame "Exit 14" is one of the worst movies ever made. The senseless story has a terrible screenplay and begins disclosing awful characters: Joey is annoying, silly and inopportune; Faith is promiscuous and stupid; Mick and Dad are uninteresting and Laurie and Roy are the only reasonable characters with potential, but are not developed. The cinematography, camera and lighting are amateurish. "Exit 14" is a forgettable film and a waste of time. My vote is two.
