I thought the movie was okay. Unfortunately, like most christian films they lack the funds to make a really good movie. All in all it was still worth watching.

Wow wow wow, I don't think Covid-19 was around when this movie came out, but something stopped them short of pulling together anything worth of a complete plot. It looks like the rough draft of a movie that needed to be scrapped and redone from the beginning. Final production feels like it was done on an iPhone 5 on a long bathroom break.
Should be listed under comedy because it was so bad I couldn't believe someone thought this would have been the least bit enjoyable or make any bit of sense. My insides hurt from the uncontrollable laughter.

Young Aaron Mees is a football star who gets on the bad side of his coach who
because of his attitude benches him. Not to be sidelined Mees merely transfers
schools where he gets on bad with some of his would be teammates. They 'bully'
him, but he meets up with a nice group of Christian kids, joins a church and finds
that life ain't so bad.
It usually isn't for folks as good looking and hunky as Mees. To say the least he's not your typical bullied teen. The main thing kids are bullied for is not being heterosexual, but you will not see a Christian movie going in that direction.
Shake Off The World will not be making it out of church basements. We should all have such problems as Mees.

Poor acting, weak story.. unfair comparison to Blindside as nothing like it.. nothing to do with football.. didn't go anywhere.. poor ending.. other than that, great movie...

Anytime I watch a movie based on Christian beliefs I think it's great because even though this young man could have played football and made something of himself he choose to follow the path that God layed out for him and that's why I give this movie a 10. Thanks and I'd definitely tell my friends about it. 🙂
