I thought this was a fantastic show especially season 2! Disappointed there isn't a 3rd season to see what happened to the outlaws! So much build up and then nothing! Come on history channel, personally I'm sick of gold rush etc! Bring back the action!

I was not expecting much from this series. I was about to read Falco's book but saw this and thought I would watch it first. I'm watching SOA at the same time BTW.
Wow this is just as good if not better. I think it beats SOA in portraying bikers gangs more realistically and less like the fantasy Robin Hood style that SOA does.
The acting is great and considering it is a Canadian production it is very slick. You really feel the danger and tension Falco was under. The bikers in this series are so close to real and often times frightening.
Although it derives its content from real events, which may have challenged its longevity due to lack of further material, a fictional continuation of the story could have worked. The acting and production was that good.
This one was a hidden gem that definitely leaves you wanting more.

There is a chance that these series could give something different in the field of TV screened undercover stories. You have a person with real problems, a drug dealer who hits rock bottom and you have a fear, a lot of fear that this bottom has a hole. Potential 20 years in jail is wasted life time in hell, pure punishment with no other meaning, no future. And there is another way - through the bottom of the very dangerous people and his own. This pit is dip, dipper than his worst nightmare dreams, but there is no easier way out. He chooses to face the demons right away, in order to make amends for his mistakes from the past. In the end, there is one question left to be answered: if he ever comes back, who will he be... in the end. I am eager to find out!

For all the Sons of Anarchy lovers out there, so have worshiped SAMCRO and the 'quiet' town of Charming, look no further as this is a perfect 6 Hour Binge for you.
Charlie Falco's infiltration will captivate all, as the story, acting, narration is BRILLIANT!!!!
If you wanna know what life truly is in a MC, 6 Hours is all you gotta give!!!
Are you game????
Wish there were more such Mini-Series out there!!!!
Oh the thrill!!!!

This comment are for those who want are skeptical or if this show is worth it.
This mini-series is something new and tired wasted or boring. Kept my attention almost every minute. If you're tired of reality shows, recycled story lines from boring movies, then this is the show for you. I felt like I was watching a well directed, acted, and creative story. I usually only watch a couple of hours of TV because it is soooo predictable. However, I just caught this show because I thought the title was interesting. I could stop watching I sat there for at least five hours unheard for me.

It's the first time I write a review, and believe you me I did not see any series more Perfect than this show at all. Sure there is ups and downs for every TV-show, but this one is just so "PERFECT". The acting is "PERFECT", the production is "PERFECT", through the whole show you feel like you're living the story, the music is on point, and this show as a whole is a "MASTERPIECE". I'm really hoping for a 3rd season.
I ended up watching episode 1 only because it came on after Vikings. I enjoy watching TV shows/movies that are based on true life. (I do go into these knowing that some leeway has to be given to the facts so that it can make for good TV viewing.). So I was pretty interested in checking out "Falco's" undercover story to see real-life danger and a world that is completely different than my own.
As I watched this episode it kept cutting away to have the real Falco give some narration. It seemed quite disruptive and irritating especially when it happened during a tense action scene. I just wanted to be able to watch the characters interact - to get to the meat. I remember thinking that The History Channel really messed up what could have been an otherwise great TV show.
I ended up giving it a second chance and I am glad I did. The show continued to have Falco give a personal accounting, but they were able to make it flow more smoothly into the story. And actually, I appreciated having more insight into what he was thinking and feeling. The show really picked up.
I just watched episode 6......What?! That's it? Even though Falco spent 3 years of his life infiltrating this often vicious gang it gets condensed down to 6 shows? What a disappointment. I would think that given the huge success of Sons of Anarchy that there would be tons of people wanting to see into the real existence of a Biker Club/gang. It's confusing that they only put out 6 episodes. But 6 episodes is all we get. When I think of the overall cohesiveness, it seems like key information is lacking which could've been resolved with a longer first season. Regardless, I do really like the show.
It was pretty incredible to see the dire situations that Falco got into and see how well he thought on his feet and how he managed to get out of the hot-seat. It liked seeing a more realistic view on the biker lifestyle. Another positive is that it didn't portray a romanticized version of being an outlaw like SOA often did, but made sure to point out the criminal activities.
I would be happy to find out that The History Channel is going to have another season and show Falco's next undercover assignment. I believe he infiltrated biker clubs/gangs a total of 2 or 3 times.

If you're so worried about the ending, Charlie Sheen, and Linda Fiorentina starred in the movie "Above the Law," based on this guy. He's actually got a small cameo on the end of the movie. But, of course, we won't know which of them, he is.
It's a decent movie.

My boss recommended this show to me when season 1 out. It was one of the few shows that I made sure I watched on the History Channel every week when it was airing. Of course true story's or storys based on true events are always better in my opinion. I've now finished the 8 episodes for Season 2 and of course, it ends on a cliffhanger. If anyone from History channel reads this for some reason, please get on renewing it for that 3rd season. Otherwise ill have to read the book. I don't like reading and this show is too good to cancel.
It's a series...good is too big a word to describe it! Surely the director, screenwriter and producer drive at most an electric scooter! They probably saw Sons of Anarchy or Mayans (more than likely they didn't see them both)! It's a much exaggerated note, a -7 with a lot of indulgence would be much closer to reality ! With great effort I could resist watching it until episode 5, minute 7! Believe me, it's a performance that's hard to beat! Indeed, it is too much for a normal person...for an earthling ! To like this series, you either have to be an alien or be different than I consider myself!

For the most part, season one is really good. Gritty, realistic, and fun.
Season 2 is a different story, it's still good but definitely lost some of the edge that season 1 had...still, all in all a very good series.
Although the narration is a bit long and sometimes can be annoying, I can see its necessity. It non only ties big knots to complete plot gaps but also aides in making the story MOVE at an accelerated rate. Cast? Excellent Story? Believable Prison Life? No first hand knowledge, but seemed to cover all the bases.
Not for everyone...but you KNOW if it is.

Great show! Literally keeps you at the edge of your seat! Everyone knows when you watch a "Based on True Events" shoe or movie that they spice it up so those who get mad at that are stupid. This show is a must watch on all levels! And season 2..... Phenomenal! I just hope they make a season 3!
I find 99 out of 100 shows that are ranked 8 or higher on IMDB to be high quality and worth watching. This show is one of the exceptions. It is low budget, poorly produced, and has sub par acting across the board. AVOID!!!
